Surveyors are to take accurate measurements inside and out of our client’s properties. Taking pictures of necessary electrical panels, meters, documents, obstructions, and general property. Uploading of those documents and pictures immediately after completion through tools provided. Installations will be designed based on those measurements.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively accomplish all Site Surveys on their daily schedule.
  • Communicate with customers and be very punctual.
  • Comply with all city regulations.
  • Adhere to all safety requirements and regulations.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and follow directions.
  • Assist with job site and company vehicle clean-up processes.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Must be comfortable with heights and climbing onto roof areas for extended periods of time.
  • Must have good customer service skills.
  • Keeps a clean appearance.
  • Earns trust easily and maintains confidence from co-workers.
  • Ability to demonstrate basic computer skills. 

Required Experience:

  • Must have a clean and valid driver’s license and be able to pass a drug test and background check.
  • 2 years of experience in a related field.

To undertake such a huge task, we need motivated people who want to make a difference. Right now, we are seeking a Journeyman Electrician that will be a solid contributor within Vivint Solar. The Journeyman Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining and troubleshooting electrical components of our residential solar projects.  In this role, you will report directly to a Crew Foreman or Operations Manager within the Field Operations group.

 

The Journeyman Electrician must have an active Journeyman or Master Electrician License within the local state.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Install electrical systems that interconnect our solar array to the grid power of our customer’s residential property
  • Ensure work performed by all electricians is of good workmanship and compliant with current NEC and local codes
  • Troubleshoot system problems and resolve electrical issues
  • Work with the Operations Manager and home owners to fulfill any necessary system upgrades/repairs to support our solar equipment
  • Work with local Inspectors to satisfy local requirements and expectations
  • Interface with Electrical Manager to ensure compliance with ratios and continuing education requirements
  • Train, mentor and develop Electrical Apprentices
  • Maintain high quality control on tools, vehicles and materials needed for job responsibilities
  • Keep accurate records of material used and proper documentation on work orders relating to the installation
  • Maintain compliance to all PPE and safety regulations per OSHA and Vivint Solar standards
  • Perform other needed job tasks as requested by leadership

Required Skills:

  • Valid and current Journeyman (or Master) Electrician License within the state
  • Experience with electrical installation, troubleshooting and repair
  • Ability to perform advanced electrical calculations
  • Understanding of wire and conduit sizing as well as how to make adjustments for environmental factors
  • Ability to read and interpret one line drawings and electrical schematics
  • Knowledge of the 2011 NEC and the ability to navigate the guidelines

  • Must be willing to work in high places (our installations are on rooftops)

Required Experience:

Right now, we are seeking a Removal / Re-Install Technician that will be a solid contributor within Vivint Solar. As a Removal / Re-Install Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products are installed properly and on-time.  In this role, you will report directly to a Crew Foreman within the Field Services group.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work within a four-man team to remove or re-install the racking system and solar panels on residential roofs.
  • Maintain a high quality of installation
  • Prepare trucks for removal or reinstalls for the upcoming day making sure everything is neat and organized
  • Clean and prepare trucks at the end of the day to ensure that the vehicle is ready for the next day’s use
  • Maintain compliance to all PPE and safety regulations per OSHA and Vivint Solar standards
  • Diagnose PV systems issues, including non-operation, underperformance, develop and administer corrective action
  • Advanced troubleshooting of system issues as identified & scheduled by the corporate Fleet Performance team
  • Record and submit service activity on mobile software platforms utilizing company phone/tablet, associated with serviced systems
  • Comply with key performance indicators (KPI) set by Regional Field Service Manager
  • Attend webinars/calls (correlation meeting(s) as set by Regional Field Service Manager.
  • Maintain and communicate supply & equipment issues to properly address all service call needs
  • Maintain regular communication with field service techs and Fleet Performance Call Center
  • Ensure a high level of workmanship is adhered to as service work is performed.

Required Skills:

  • Working knowledge of solar installation, construction and/or roofing

Primary job responsibilities include:

  • Development and coordination of marketing strategies
  • Promotion of VIVINT SOLAR products and services to prospective and existing clients
  • Delivery of interactive sales presentations on eco-friendly, green products and services
  • Network and expand customer base
  • Participation in ongoing training camps on a weekly basis

Right now, we are seeking a Meter Reader that will be a solid contributor within Vivint Solar.  The Meter Reader is responsible for recording solar usage from a revenue grade meter and inspecting the meters for defects or abnormal usage levels of our residential solar projects.

 

When not reading meters, you may be asked to help additional tasks such as: minor service visits such as resetting envoys or turning on solar breakers, work with our site surveyors as they visit customer’s homes to collect information for potential solar installations. In this role, you will report directly within the Site Survey group

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Follow a designated route and arrive to all scheduled appointments daily
  • Take pictures of the meter and email to corporate
  • Inspect meter for inaccuracies and damage; report any findings for future service
  • Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches
  • Reply promptly to emails and send when necessary
  • Cooperate with Corporate and Field teams and share information across the organization
  • Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
  • Produce timely and detailed service reports
  • Operate vehicle in a safe manner and use field automation systems
  • Follow all company field procedures and protocols
  • Build positive relationships with customers

 

Required Skills:

  • Must have good customer service skills.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Keeps a clean appearance.
  • Earns trust easily and maintains confidence from co-workers.
  • Ability to demonstrate basic computer skills.

 

Required Experience:

  • 2 years of experience in related field

  • Diagnose network functions, IP address knowledge, internet connection and troubleshooting of low voltage circuits
  • Record and submit service activity on mobile software platforms utilizing company phone, associated with serviced systems
  • Diagnose PV system communication issues, and administer corrective action
  • Maintain all issued tools assigned to you by Vivint Solar
  • Comply with key performance indicators (KPI) set by Regional Field Service Manager
  • Attend webinars/calls correlation meeting(s) as set by Regional Field Service Manager
  • Maintain and communicate supply & equipment issues to properly address all solar communication call needs
  • Maintain regular communication with Field Service Techs and Fleet Performance Call Center
  • Ensure a high level of workmanship is adhered to as service work is performed

 

Necessary Skills and Experience:

  • Working knowledge of solar installation, and monitoring platforms

Surveyors are to take accurate measurements inside and out of our client’s properties. Taking pictures of necessary electrical panels, meters, documents, obstructions, and general property. Uploading of those documents and pictures immediately after completion through tools provided. Installations will be designed based on those measurements.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively accomplish all Site Surveys on their daily schedule.
  • Communicate with customers and be very punctual.
  • Comply with all city regulations.
  • Adhere to all safety requirements and regulations.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and follow directions.
  • Assist with job site and company vehicle clean-up processes.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Must be comfortable with heights and climbing onto roof areas for extended periods of time.
  • Must have good customer service skills.
  • Keeps a clean appearance.
  • Earns trust easily and maintains confidence from co-workers.
  • Ability to demonstrate basic computer skills. 

Required Experience:

  • Must have a clean and valid driver’s license and be able to pass a drug test and background check.
