Right now, we are seeking a Warehouse Specialist that will be a solid contributor within Vivint Solar.  As a Warehouse Specialist you will be responsible of all inventories in the warehouse and office. They prepare all jobs with the proper equipment for all installations and record usage on a daily basis. Inventory Assistants oversee the day-to-day activity of the warehouse inventory; ensuring we have necessary inventory at all times, ordering additional inventory when needed, and conduct weekly and monthly audits.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Attend daily correlation/leadership meetings
  • Assist with the office opening and closings
  • Oversee the use of equipment and maintain a list of equipment use
  • Perform and report weekly audits of inventory
  • Prepare equipment for loading of trucks
  • Transfer inventory from vehicles to storage facilities and shelves by hand, pallet jack, or forklift
  • Actively stay involved with the daily schedule and calendar
  • Continually monitor and order supplies to maintain adequate stock levels
  • Promptly attend to all communications
  • Continually seek to make improvements around the warehouse and office
  • Keep the warehouse clean & organized
  • Clean & organize vehicles
  • Support and abide by all safety regulations set by company
  • Ability to work in a deadline driven environment

Required Skills:

  • Must be extremely organized.

The Journeyman Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining and troubleshooting electrical components of our residential solar projects.  In this role, you will report directly to a Crew Foreman or Operations Manager within the Field Operations group.

 

The Journeyman Electrician must have an active Journeyman or Master Electrician License within the local state.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Install electrical systems that interconnect our solar array to the grid power of our customer’s residential property
  • Ensure work performed by all electricians is of good workmanship and compliant with current NEC and local codes
  • Troubleshoot system problems and resolve electrical issues
  • Work with the Operations Manager and home owners to fulfill any necessary system upgrades/repairs to support our solar equipment
  • Work with local Inspectors to satisfy local requirements and expectations
  • Interface with Electrical Manager to ensure compliance with ratios and continuing education requirements
  • Train, mentor and develop Electrical Apprentices
  • Maintain high quality control on tools, vehicles and materials needed for job responsibilities
  • Keep accurate records of material used and proper documentation on work orders relating to the installation
  • Maintain compliance to all PPE and safety regulations per OSHA and Vivint Solar standards

Required Skills:

To undertake such a huge task, we need a Journeyman Electrical Field Service Technician that will be a solid contributor and leader. They will report to the Regional Managers within the Fleet Performance department. The primary focus will be to perform all field diagnostics and repairs in a professional manner.

 

The Journeyman Electrical Field Service Technician is preferred to have an active Journeyman or Master Electrician License within the local state.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Keep all appointments as scheduled, confirm attendance and seek to optimize field time efficiently
  • Advanced troubleshooting of system issues as identified and scheduled by the corporate Fleet Performance team
  • Diagnose PV system issues, including non-operation and underperformance, then develop and administer a remediation
  • Maintain the highest level of professionalism and interact directly with Vivint Solar customers
  • Troubleshoot and resolve solar electric warranty and service issues that arise with: modules, inverters, and all system components to ensure maximum system performance
  • Record and submit daily paperwork associated with serviced systems
  • Actively report and communicate with Fleet Performance Regional Management
  • Comply with key performance indicators (KPI) set by Regional Field Service Manager
  • Attend webinars/calls and correlation meeting(s) as set by Regional Field Service Manager
  • Maintain and communicate supply and equipment issues to properly address all service call needs
  • Maintain regular communication with Electrical Field Service Technicians and Fleet Performance Call Center
  • Ensure a high degree of workmanship as service and warranty work are completed
  • Follow all safety policies while driving company vehicle and at all job sites
  • Comply with necessary safety standards to assure a safe work place/condition

Required Skills:

  • Ability to identify solutions to resolve technical design problems including electrical systems used during construction

Responsibilities:

  • Performing daily field quality assurance audits
  • Scheduling quality assurance reviews with the homeowners
  • Using tools to verify that installation practices are up to company standards
  • Ensuring install integrity through follow up meetings with the Operations Manager and Installation Crews
  • Using back end analytics to increase efficiency of installation practices within the assigned markets
  • Assist with training and new practice/product implementation

  • Work with a team to install the required structural upgrades for accounts.
  • Maintain a high quality of installation
  • Prepare trucks for installs in the upcoming day making sure everything is neat and organized
  • Make minor structural and cosmetic repairs as needed
  • Clean and prepare trucks at the end of the day to ensure that the vehicle is ready for the next day’s use

To undertake such a huge task, we need motivated people who want to make a difference. Right now, we are seeking a Journeyman Electrician that will be a solid contributor within Vivint Solar. The Journeyman Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining and troubleshooting electrical components of our residential solar projects.  In this role, you will report directly to a Crew Foreman or Operations Manager within the Field Operations group.

 

The Journeyman Electrician must have an active Journeyman or Master Electrician License within the local state.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Install electrical systems that interconnect our solar array to the grid power of our customer’s residential property
  • Ensure work performed by all electricians is of good workmanship and compliant with current NEC and local codes
  • Troubleshoot system problems and resolve electrical issues
  • Work with the Operations Manager and home owners to fulfill any necessary system upgrades/repairs to support our solar equipment
  • Work with local Inspectors to satisfy local requirements and expectations
  • Interface with Electrical Manager to ensure compliance with ratios and continuing education requirements
  • Train, mentor and develop Electrical Apprentices
  • Maintain high quality control on tools, vehicles and materials needed for job responsibilities
  • Keep accurate records of material used and proper documentation on work orders relating to the installation
  • Maintain compliance to all PPE and safety regulations per OSHA and Vivint Solar standards
  • Perform other needed job tasks as requested by leadership

Required Skills:

  • Valid and current Journeyman (or Master) Electrician License within the state
  • Experience with electrical installation, troubleshooting and repair
  • Ability to perform advanced electrical calculations
  • Understanding of wire and conduit sizing as well as how to make adjustments for environmental factors
  • Ability to read and interpret one line drawings and electrical schematics
  • Knowledge of the 2011 NEC and the ability to navigate the guidelines
  • Above average computer skills
  • Must be willing to work in high places (our installations are on rooftops)

Required Experience:

  • Must have an active Journeyman (or Master) Electrician license within the state
  • 4+ years of electrical installation and repair experience
  • Working knowledge of the usage of a volt meter
  • Working knowledge and experience replacing residential electrical services and distribution panels

To undertake such a huge task, we need a Regional Field Training Manager that has a strong solar background. This position will put you in a key role within Vivint Solar’s Field Operations Training Department.

 

This department is tasked with training Vivint Solar field operations in 3 key areas:

  • New hires
  • Quality & best practices
  • New product & process

 

The department also manages evaluation, pilots and launch of new installation equipment. You will oversee all field training for your assigned region, of 4-6 offices. You will directly train 4-6 offices. You will report to your Regional Field Training Manager.

 

Your key responsibilities will be to…

  • Conduct all training activities within your region
  • Accurately and efficiently train your offices
  • Understand all corporate policies, the Field Operations Manual, manufacturer's specifications and requirements
  • Understand and teach best practices
  • Efficiently follow your training schedule and meet the minimum requirements for days in each office per quarter.
  • Develop and execute office specific weekly training plans
  • Teach, train and mentor field employees
  • Constantly learn and improve yourself to not only have adequate technical skills but be a master communicator and teacher that earn the respect of those you teach.
  • Consult with the training design and development team as a subject matter expert
  • Provide regular updates and follow-up on additional responsibilities as assigned by the Regional Field Training Manager

 

You’ll do that with your…

  • Bachelor's degree, industry certification or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in electrical or solar industries.

  • Ability to travel 2-3 weeks per month on average.
