  • Service the solar system as needed
  • Clean and prepare trucks at the end of the day to ensure that the vehicle is ready for the next day’s use
  • Occasional work in the warehouse organizing equipment
  • Maintain compliance to all PPE and safety regulations per OSHA and Vivint Solar standards

Required Skills:

  • Working knowledge of solar installation, construction and/or roofing
  • Ability to work well with others that are on your team
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

As an Inspection Technician you will be responsible for inspecting installations and meeting with inspectors ensuring installations are to code. In this role, you will report directly to the Lead Inspection Technician within the Installation group.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Attend daily correlation meetings
  • Reply promptly to emails and send when necessary
  • Set up and tie off ladders for the city/county inspectors
  • Rivet placards
  • Open electrical panels & junction boxes so the inspector can observe inside
  • Perform pre-inspection prior to inspector showing up (cancel inspections, if necessary to avoid re-inspection fees if you know we're possibly going to fail)
  • Calling inspectors in the mornings to confirm meeting times (Including which inspection is 1st., 2nd., 3rd., etc... so you know where to go in the order given to you by the inspector)
  • During down time: have your van stocked with material to pre-fab (disconnects, combiner panels, roof switches)

Required Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal/human relations skills
  • Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills
  • Comfortable being and working on roofs
  • Work well with others that are on your work team

Required Experience:

  • 1+ to 2 years of experience
  • Must possess current driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Individual should not have a fear of heights
  • Microsoft operating system proficiency (recommended)

The Apprentice Electrician is responsible for assisting the Journeyman Electrician and Installation Crew installing, maintaining and troubleshooting electrical components of our residential solar projects.  In this role, you will report directly to a Crew Foreman within the Field Operations group.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Journeyman Electrician with installing electrical systems that interconnect our solar array to the grid power of our customer’s residential property
  • Perform work as instructed by the Journeyman Electrician and ensuring that it is of good workmanship and compliant with current NEC and local codes
  • Troubleshoot system problems and resolve electrical issues
  • Interface with Electrical Manager to ensure compliance with ratios and continuing education requirements
  • Work with the Crew to clean the work area and prevent leaving any trash or tools behind
  • Work with the Crew to ensure all required parts to complete that day’s work are stocked and available on the truck
  • Maintain high quality control on tools, vehicles and materials needed for job responsibilities
  • Maintain compliance to all PPE and safety regulations per OSHA and Vivint Solar standards
  • Perform other needed job tasks as requested by leadership

Required Skills:

  • Valid and current Electrical Trainee License within the state
  • Experience with electrical installation, troubleshooting and repair
  • Understanding of wire and conduit sizing as well as how to make adjustments for environmental factors
  • Ability to perform basic electrical calculations
  • Ability to read and interpret one line drawings and electrical schematics

As a Warehouse Lead you will be in charge of all inventories in the warehouse and office. They prepare all jobs with the proper equipment for all installations and record usage on a daily basis.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Verify the count of the incoming stock with invoices & purchase orders.
  • Transfer inventory to its location in the storage facility or to shelves.
  • Affix identification and help staff or other inventory workers find specific items.
  • Pull and document all equipment and inventory needed for each install.
  • Check all work orders and remaining inventory daily and reorder as needed.
  • Report all incomplete work orders to management for corrections.
  • Input inventory and equipment data into computer programs and create or maintain purchase orders.
  • Maintain vehicles and verify authorization to use vehicles. Potentially drive company vehicles or personal vehicle with reimbursement based on background check.
  • Perform full inventory audits.

Required Skills:

  • Must be extremely organized.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate basic computer skills.
  • Must be able to lift 50-70 lbs
  • Strong organization skills

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Warehouse experience a plus

Uploading of those documents and pictures immediately after completion through tools provided. Installations will be designed based on those measurements.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively accomplish all Site Surveys on their daily schedule.
  • Communicate with customers and be very punctual.
  • Comply with all city regulations.
  • Adhere to all safety requirements and regulations.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and follow directions.
  • Assist with job site and company vehicle clean-up processes.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Must be comfortable with heights and climbing onto roof areas for extended periods of time.
  • Must have good customer service skills.
