Right now, we are seeking a Warehouse Specialist that will be a solid contributor within Vivint Solar.  As a Warehouse Specialist you will be responsible of all inventories in the warehouse and office. They prepare all jobs with the proper equipment for all installations and record usage on a daily basis. Inventory Assistants oversee the day-to-day activity of the warehouse inventory; ensuring we have necessary inventory at all times, ordering additional inventory when needed, and conduct weekly and monthly audits.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Attend daily correlation/leadership meetings
  • Assist with the office opening and closings
  • Oversee the use of equipment and maintain a list of equipment use
  • Perform and report weekly audits of inventory
  • Prepare equipment for loading of trucks
  • Transfer inventory from vehicles to storage facilities and shelves by hand, pallet jack, or forklift
  • Actively stay involved with the daily schedule and calendar
  • Continually monitor and order supplies to maintain adequate stock levels
  • Promptly attend to all communications
  • Continually seek to make improvements around the warehouse and office
  • Keep the warehouse clean & organized
  • Clean & organize vehicles
  • Support and abide by all safety regulations set by company
  • Ability to work in a deadline driven environment

Required Skills:

The Customer Service Specialist will work within the customer service group within the Operations Organization.  They will provide an excellent customer experience while resolving solar system performance issues, and dispatching Field Technicians properly. This group is responsible for ensuring that our entire fleet of over 90,000 operational solar systems is performing optimally.  This key role will support the needs of a fast growing team, and provide necessary support in order to achieve operational excellence.

  • Work with a team to install the racking system and solar panels on residential roofs
  • Maintain a high quality of installation
  • Prepare trucks for installs in the upcoming day making sure everything is neat and organized
  • Service the solar system as needed
  • Clean and prepare trucks at the end of the day to ensure that the vehicle is ready for the next day’s use
  • Occasional work in the warehouse organizing equipment
  • Maintain compliance to all PPE and safety regulations per OSHA and Vivint Solar standards

  • Calling inspectors in the mornings to confirm meeting times (Including which inspection is 1st., 2nd., 3rd., etc... so you know where to go in the order given to you by the inspector)
  • During down time: have your van stocked with material to pre-fab (disconnects, combiner panels, roof switches)

Required Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal/human relations skills
  • Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills
  • Comfortable being and working on roofs
  • Work well with others that are on your work team

Required Experience:

  • 1+ to 2 years of experience

To undertake such a huge task, we need motivated people who want to make a difference. Right now, we are seeking an Apprentice Electrician that will be a solid contributor within Vivint Solar. The Apprentice Electrician is responsible for assisting the Journeyman Electrician and Installation Crew installing, maintaining and troubleshooting electrical components of our residential solar projects.  In this role, you will report directly to a Crew Foreman within the Field Operations group.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Journeyman Electrician with installing electrical systems that interconnect our solar array to the grid power of our customer’s residential property
  • Perform work as instructed by the Journeyman Electrician and ensuring that it is of good workmanship and compliant with current NEC and local codes
  • Troubleshoot system problems and resolve electrical issues
  • Interface with Electrical Manager to ensure compliance with ratios and continuing education requirements
  • Work with the Crew to clean the work area and prevent leaving any trash or tools behind
  • Work with the Crew to ensure all required parts to complete that day’s work are stocked and available on the truck
  • Maintain high quality control on tools, vehicles and materials needed for job responsibilities
  • Maintain compliance to all PPE and safety regulations per OSHA and Vivint Solar standards
  • Perform other needed job tasks as requested by leadership

Required Skills:

  • Valid and current Electrical Trainee License within the state
  • Experience with electrical installation, troubleshooting and repair
  • Understanding of wire and conduit sizing as well as how to make adjustments for environmental factors
  • Ability to perform basic electrical calculations
  • Ability to read and interpret one line drawings and electrical schematics
  • Knowledge of the 2011 NEC and the ability to navigate the guidelines
  • Ability to follow instructions and performance guidelines
  • Must be willing to work in high places (our installations are on rooftops)

Required Experience:

  • Must have an active Electrical Trainee license within the state
  • Minimum of 1 year of electrical installation and repair experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of electrical apprenticeship experience
  • Working knowledge of the usage of a volt meter

The Journeyman Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining and troubleshooting electrical components of our residential solar projects.  In this role, you will report directly to a Crew Foreman or Operations Manager within the Field Operations group.

 

The Journeyman Electrician must have an active Journeyman or Master Electrician License within the local state.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Install electrical systems that interconnect our solar array to the grid power of our customer’s residential property
  • Ensure work performed by all electricians is of good workmanship and compliant with current NEC and local codes

Responsibilities:
